We are so saddened to write this note. Hello friends on Gemmell Rd and far beyond, our sincerest, deepest condolences to all of you on Bob’s passing. Although he leaves a deep void there are so, so many wonderful memories and lessons to be remembered of his life very well lived. To us at 355 ,Bob was the model patriarch; a loving husband, dedicated father, grandfather and great grandfather , glad neighbour, and jolly friend, always at the ready to pull you out of the ditch or deal a mean game of Hearts or Euchre. Since Bob and Dorothy sold the cottage to Mom in 1993 we have been grateful everyday to be a part of the community and we look forward, as Mom and Dad did, to raising our grandchildren on Gemmell Point; dedicated to fishing tournaments that lead to fish fry’s, keeping frogs out of the pool, helping neighbours out of a jam, and pouring a stiff drink when circumstances call for it. Thanks Bob.

Our sincere sympathy for your loss. The Gemmells were valued neighbours to the MacGregors. We all have pleasant memories of Bob. He was a remarkable man. Thinking of you in this time.
