Uncle Ron, Lisa, Paul, Janet, Brian, Justin and Patrick
Please accept our sincere condolences on the loss of your dear wife, mother and grandmother. There is an anonymous saying that goes as follows, “There are some who bring a light so great to the world that even after they have gone, the light remains.” Truer words could not have been spoken to describe our beloved aunt. We will so miss our visits over the years and how she brought such joy and love to each of those meetings. She cared deeply for others and never missed an opportunity to share her special ‘light’ with family and friends alike. We share in your sorrow and pray that warm and loving memories of times together with Aunt Marilyn sustain you in the days and months to come.
Love
Patti, SJ, Scott and our families

Dear Ron and family
I am saddened this morning to get notice of the passing of your soulmate, mother and grandmother.
For several years Marilyn and I worked together in Public Health and had much fun and many teaching moments while working; not to mention our daily coffee across the street at "Woolies".
May God wrap you in his loving arms and speak peace into your hearts. Betty J. Voteary

Roger and I are saddened to learn of your Beloved Wife, Mother and Grandmother’s passing. Marilyn and I met upon my joining the Health Unit in 1977. I recall her being so welcoming and pleasant. In the late 80’s, she encouraged and cheered me on while pursuing my BScN. Each Christmas school break upon awakening after working midnights, there would be a Christmas dinner with all the trimmings carefully placed on our top step with a wee note simply saying…Enjoy! I remain humbled by her kindhearted generosity.
In my final year of university, Marilyn agreed to assume the role as my preceptor. With her quiet, unassuming manner she was such an amazing mentor, modelling the attributes of a true Public Health Nurse…one that I aspired to become. I still treasure the beautiful Victorian brooch she gave me upon graduating. Marilyn’s was a friendship that I have cherished throughout the 46 years we have known each other, I will certainly miss her.
As family, you were incredibly blessed to have had her in your lives for so many years, but with that closeness comes a deeper sense of loss. May her legacy of love, kindness and giving live on in each of you. She indeed had the heart of a servant! As our gracious Lord walks alongside you during this difficult time, may He tenderly comfort you with His care and compassion. Sorrow runs deep, but love runs deeper.
With Sympathy and Prayers,
