Sue and all Jack's family. For many years beginning with his and Donna's arrival in Charlottetown. Jack became a friend, First through his membership in The Kinsman Club of Charlottetownthes through house parties, dances, and gatherings. Fishing for Tuna on the north side. in the Gulf of St. Laurance. His smiling face and his friendly attitude attracted many. His practical jokes made him famous among his many friends. My late wife and I were fortunate to be part of their fellow travelers. Later when they were transferred to Europe, Canadian Forces Base Lahar in Germany, we were able to accept their call to come on over and visit. We did this on 2 occasions. What wonderful tour guides they were, taking us to many famous spots in Germany and some in Switzerland. O course I must mention meeting his mother, Bessie she and I have the same birthday, Now. 27th. , which brought us even closer as friends. Later, when he arrived back in Canada my then partner, now wife Joyce and I traveled to Smith Falls on a couple of occasions as well as him coming up to Ottawa on occasion, while we were visiting my daughter Heather and family there. My three children, David, Marion, and Heather were always happy to have The Wrights drop by our home and be subject to Jack.s teasing. He made many friends here in Charlottetown as did Donna while working at Proud.s shoe store..
Jack our friend and pal. has left us now, but you his family, and his many friends will remember his smiling face and the happy times as we met. Our deepest condolences to you his family,

To the uncle who seemed larger than life, and was an epic figure in my childhood and on into my adult life. He was always interested in our lives and what we were up to, always asking for updates with each telephone visit. He could always be counted on to offer up a witty comment for any situation and I marvelled at his fast paced brain. Few people could make my dad feel at ease but Uncle Jack knew just how to draw a laugh from him.
When I named my son McCauley he told me “what the hell did you do that for” which is total Jack speak in so many ways. I wasn’t offended. I just told him the boy had a lot to live up to with a name like that and I felt confident he could do it.
Rest easy you sweet funny man. Gram and Dad are there to meet you I am sure
