Our condolences to Lois’ family at this sad time of her passing. Lois was a fellow card player for years at different card halls, lastly our Seniors club in Smiths Falls. Lois had a sense of humour I appreciated and would show her heart at times- her family were precious to her and she was very proud of them- I had opportunity to hear some of those stories! I have missed her since she was unable to play cards. My sister Millie and Lois were friends as well although Millie is only here a few weeks each fall from Vancouver Island, whenever Lois and I saw each other she always ask for Millie first! My dad George always like to scare Aunty Lois with hair raising car rides to dizzying heights.
I love that I got to share the same middle name with her, which speaks to how much George and Joan loved Lois.
Was always so happy to get a sweet phone call from Aunty Lois checking in on us, after George passed away. I hope they have met up again and are laughing away somewhere together with Nancy, Frank and Doug.
